Ice breaker 2, the Y at Creekside

Ok, yes I know that the water outs cold.. I know that there it's a super high water level but darn-it I want to fish.. ok!

So out has been a long time sence I went to the Y. If you actually read the blog, you may just remember that we have been here before. It's been a long time though.. I saw my first longnosed Garr here. I love that fish, I want one so bad just for the fact that I could look at one up close then. Seriously, it's my dram catch.

Report: child water with the addition of high water flow from Hoover makes the fishy not want to come out and play with me. Or I just did not give them enough time. Probably a little bit of both.

Used: plain old rubber worm with a spinner trail. Purple was the color.

Jozee - out

Ice breaker, Alum Creek Dam

Below the Dam, Alum Creek

So, its been so long since we all have been fishing. Cabin fever has been seeing in bad... Time to go fishing.

Report: well as you would expect alum it's flowing fast. Really fast.. no-one that we talked to had even a nibble.

After church today I decided to take my nefue out for a little fun with the kids and I. First we started out just going to Cabelas tip look at shotguns bit turned into Gabby reminding me that I needed to pick up her new fishing pole that I promised for her birthday. As always she wanted the junk Barbie pole.. yea..she ended up with that. All walking around done I picked up my 2014 Ohio fishing license and we were done. Of course they wanted to go out, yea I couldn't resist the kiddos.

Showing up I knew that we we not going to get a thing with three Barbie pole.. but we will give it a shot, worst case the kids get a few minis pin the playground while I get the poles set up. Out felt nice to be outside for a few. They all got to throw the line out a few time's. We didn't get the chance to loose any of our new equipment. So that's a plus.
To wrap things up for the trip, unsuccessful to dry the least.. but 're energized the fishing soal.
